100 days, can you believe it!

I went for a little walk at lunchtime and as the weather was so nice I decided I’d eat in the park. I bumped into colleagues from work which was nice! Anyway I spotted a very cute Chihuahua on the other side of the park so I ran over to say hello! Bombon is very sweet but also a little bit shy!

I went to my parents house with Ethan and as the weather was nice we went for a little walk. We didn’t go far when we bumped into a very handsome Border Collie called Glen. I’ve met Glen before as he lives with Millie from day 73 (she’s in the background). Glen is little bit shy with new people so it was difficult to get close to him to get a good photo! Glen is a rescue dog.

We went for a trip to York today to visit some friends so we went for a walk to a park. It didn’t take long for us to spot a very handsome Greyhound; Tink was very friendly and smiley! Tink is a rescue dog from Rescue North East. He was rescued when he was 6 months old but he wasn’t ever used for racing.

I went for a trip to a wildlife park called Brockholes today. I thought I’d have no trouble there finding a dog there until my husband informed me that dogs aren’t allowed!

When I got home a did a bit of gardening in the front garden and kept a look out for any dogs. I was very pleased when I spotted a very cute Pug; I really love Pug’s, they have so much pizazz! Roxy was no exception, she’s a very happy girl! Roxy is also very clever and can do a number of tricks; she showed me roll over and shake a paw!

I had another easy day in terms dog hunting! Today I met up with a very handsome Curly Coated Retriever called Hector. Hectors human mummy Kirstin is the human daughter of Muffin and Jake’s (day 68) human mum; she got in touch after I met Muffin and Jake and so we got chance to meet up today! Hector is a very friendly handsome boy, he’s massive too, you can’t really tell how big he is by the picture! He also came along to the park with Muffin and Jake; it was very nice to see them again! They’re all really sweet together, at one point I was stroking all 3 of them!

Hector is a rescue dog, he was left abandoned tied up to a lamppost. I can’t understand why people do that. He’s such a lovely dog, I’m really pleased he’s got a good home now!

I had the day off today so we planned to trip to Quarry Bank Mill. Since doing my blog I’ve made friends with Cooper the Dog on twitter; he doesn’t live that far away from Quarry Bank Mill so we arranged to meet up! Cooper is a very friendly dog, sooo happy! I think pretty much every person that walked past him wanted to stroke him and say hello! It was nice that I was able to spend a little bit more time than usual taking lots of pictures, to be honest I’ve found it quite difficult deciding which one to chose; that’s why I’ve chosen two! Cooper’s human dad showed me a video of Cooper walking up the stairs; he really enjoys walking up the stairs but he finds it quite hard as he’s only got little legs and then he can’t get back down! Cooper is a proud member of the Zombie Squad!

Ethan was little shy when he first met Cooper, he’d only just woken up but Cooper has definitely made an impression on him; he’s been taking about him all afternoon!

We all had the day off work today so we went for a drive to the shops. The weather has been horrible today but I was pretty sure I’d spot a dog at the shops as there’s a Pets at Home there! Anyway after lunch I spotted a very cute Shih Tzu so I went over to say hi! Lizzie was very friendly and she’s already famous! Lizzie has been in the local newspaper wearing a Manchester City Football club strip!

Yeah, it didn’t rain today! I went for a little walk at dinner time and it didn’t take long before I spotted a very handsome Cocker Spaniel. Eddie was very nice, he was very friendly but got quite shy when I got my camera out! It took a bit of bribery to get some of the shots as you can see in the picture below! Apparently Eddie is always camera shy!

I’ve completed month number 3! I’ve just got 3 quarters of the year left to do!

The weather has been horrible again today! I didn’t spot any dogs at dinner time but I did near my work when I left but I had to dash for a train! The train was slower than usual so I didn’t have time to look for a dog before I picked up Ethan from nursery so I had to wait for my husband to get back from work; the weather was way too bad to take Ethan on a dog hunt! As soon as I could I headed out. I walked for around 30 minutes without much luck; I was loosing hope when I turned a corner and spotted lovely Bobby a very cute Yorkshire terrier. I was very relieved!

I spotted a dog when I went out at lunchtime but it was tied up outside a shop and I didn’t have time to wait for the owner to come back so I missed out! It was pouring down when I got back to Bolton after work. I had to go and pick up Ethan from my parents house so I decided I’d pop round to see one of my parents neighbours as she’s got a lovely dog! Oscar was very excited to have a visitor, I gave him lots of fuss! You wouldn’t think that Oscar is as old as he is, he’s so active! Oscar only has one eye as he had to have the other one removed, bless him! Oscar is a rescue dog from Manchester dogs home.

The weather has been terrible again today! I spotted a break in the rain and so went for a little dog hunt! I didn’t have to walk far when I spotted a lovely looking dog. Daisy was very friendly but I’m told she can be a little timid with some people. Daisy is a rescue dog from Manchester Dogs home and her owner thinks she might have been mistreated before she was rescued, hence why she’s a bit timid. I don’t know how people can mistreat animals, it’s criminal!

The weather is really horrible today, it’s poured down for most of the day! We went for a little drive when I spotted a very nice dog so we parked up and I ran over to say hello, luckily there was a break in the rain! I think that Dylan is the first Bedlington Terrier that I’ve ever met, he’s lovely! He was really friendly and lent in to me to have a good stoke. He especially likes being stroked on his lower back!

I was off again today doing DIY in the house, I’m very tired now! I didn’t get chance to look for a dog until later so I popped to the park on the way to pick up Ethan from nursery. I soon as I parked up I spotted a very happy Chocolate Labrador! Millie was very excited and seemed very pleased to see me! She’s 14 years old but you wouldn’t think it if you saw how fast her tail wags! Millie’s current owner took her in when she was 3 years old, her previous owner had other pets and found Millie too boisterous!

I went to the usual park after work today. At first the only dogs I spotted were one’s I’ve already featured, Bella from day 72 and Rossi from day 56. I walked a bit further and then noticed a very happy Springer Spaniel so I went over to say hello. Max was very excited, it was pretty hard to get him to sit still! Max is a rescue dog from Leigh Cats and Dogs home. His owner loves him to bits and thinks he’s very handsome; he’s right Max is!

I was off today so I popped to the park with my little boy. I saw quite a few dogs when we first arrived but the swings took priority! After lots of fun on the slide and the swings we went for a little walk on a dog hunt and it didn’t take us long to spot Jack. Jack was very excited by everything, he was very happy when he spotted a cute Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Yorkshire Terrier! It took a while to get Jack to keep still as he was soooo excited. I managed to get this shot with bribery of a treat!

My son Ethan just said the cutest thing! He was upstairs with his Dad for bath time and asked where mummy was? His dad replied “she’s downstairs doing her dog blog”. Ethan said “I’m going to do a dog blog; I’m going to take pictures of dinosaurs!”

I didn’t get chance to look for a dog at lunchtime today so I planned to have a walk around the block when I got to nursery. I was lucky and as soon as I parked up I spotted a lovely Westie and so I went over to say hello. Willow was very excited, she didn’t keep still bless her; I was pretty lucky to get a good picture!

I went out at lunchtime but it was a bit miserable and I didn’t spot any dogs.

I popped to the park after work and I saw Bella from day 72, she was very happy chasing her ball! I walked a bit further on and spotted a very handsome Border Collie called Buddy. He’s such a friendly boy and was very excited! He loves running around and  chasing his ball and would literally carry on until he couldn’t stand anymore if they let him! Buddy has his own Facebook page. Buddy lives with two other dog friends!

I’ve been working today so I went for a little walk at lunchtime in search of dog. I didn’t have to walk for very long when I spotted a very cute Chihuahua wearing a very fashionable jacket, he won’t leave the house without his coat on! Casper was very friendly and had lots of personality! Casper’s current owners haven’t had him for long, his previous owners were Spanish so he’s in the process of learning English! Casper is afraid of Geese, I suppose they must look massive to him!

I had the day off again today but I was pretty busy so I didn’t go looking for a dog until later. I parked up at nursery when I noticed a dog down the street so I got out and ran after him! It turned out that the dogs owner is someone I know! I met the very lovely Robbie, what gorgeous dog, so friendly! Look at his big smile on the picture!
