Year of the Dog Day 361

I’ve travelled down to Exeter today and I was pretty sure that I would spot a dog at a service station; I saw lots! The first dog I saw was a really cute King Charles Spaniel so I went over to say hello! Bella is a really beautiful girl and so friendly; I’m pretty sure that she thinks everyone at the service station was there to say hello to her! Everyone should, she’s gorgeous! Bella is still young, she’s 8 months old and she has lovely soft puppy fur!

Year of the Dog Day 292

I went out and a about a few times during the day but I didn’t spot any dogs in Manchester so I popped to the park after work. It was just light enough, it’s going to get hard when he clocks go back! I spotted Charlie and Lola two gorgeous King Charles Cavalier Spaniels across the park. Charlie was my Dog of the Day for Day 111 so I went over to say hello and ask Lola if I could take her picture! Charlie and Lola are both lovely dogs, they’re really friendly to people and other dogs! I gave Lola lots of fuss, what a cute little face she has! Charlie and Lola were previously owned by a person that didn’t look after them properly and fed them food  which was bad for them. This made them overweight and Lola has had to have some teeth removed. Fortunately they now have humans that love them loads and are able to care for them properly.

When I arrived into work this morning I noticed that some stalls were being set up and then I spotted a tail wagging so I went to investigate! I met very excited Toffee, a gorgeous Cavashon. Toffee is still a puppy and he’s very happy about everything; I gave him lots of fuss! Toffee would like to be fussed for 8 hours a day if he could! Toffee lives with a cat who he loves lots, they all go on walks togther, how cute. As Toffee was at the stall all day I went to see him a couple of times, I got  to give him lots of strokes!

I didn’t spot any dogs in Manchester at lunchtime today so I had to wait for Tim to get back home from work before I could go on a dog search. Tim got back a bit later than usual, I was a bit worried that it was getting dark; I’ve not been looking forward to the darker nights! As soon as he got back I headed to the park and when I got there I spotted a man with two gorgeous Cavalier Spaniels. Willow and bailey are both lovely girls! I decided to make Willow my dog of the day, I’m hoping that I’ll see Bailey again before the year is out! Willow is such a friendly girl, she loves saying hello to people and having a fuss, I gave her loads of strokes! Willow and Bailey get on well with each other but Bailey was a little put out when Willow moved in! Willow bugs Bailey a little though, when they play chase with the ball Willow tugs on Baileys ears!

I walked to a park and spotted a family walking a really cute, happy looking dog. Oscar is a lovely Cavachon, he’s a really friendly boy and gave me a little kiss! Oscar has  two different colour eyes, one brown and one blue, he looks very cool, he’s like David Bowie! His eye colour meant that some people weren’t interested in him but fortunately his family fell in love with him; they wanted an extra member for their family, it doesn’t matter what colour his eyes are! They were quite a way ahead so I had to run a bit to catch them! Bonnie is a very beautiful and friendly girl, she cuddled into me straight away and talked to me the whole time, she’s such a cutie! When I got home myself, my husband and Ethan went for a walk to the park. We spotted two lovely King Charles Spaniels so we went to say hello! Ethan was very keen on them and liked them even more when he found out that they’re called Charlie and Lola! They are both rescue dogs. They’re previous owner didn’t know how to look after them properly and fed them on Pizza! They were never taken for walks and so unsurprisingly Charlie got quite overweight! Fortunately they were both rehomed together into a very loving new home and both dogs are now doing really well! As I’m pretty sure that I’m going to bump into the lovely Charlie and Lola again I decided to take just one of their pictures; today is Charlie’s turn!

My husband was out on a night out after work today so I had to go and have a look for a dog with my son after I’d picked him up from nursery. I was loosing hope when I spotted a very cute little dog called Lola. Lola was with her human mummy Julie and her grand kids, they love her so much!

Year of the Dog Day 29

Todays weather report is snow, cold, sleet and more snow! I was hoping I wouldn’t have to spend too much time outside today so I went to find a jewellery shop in an arcade just off St. Anne’s Square that I had been told has a French Bulldog in it; I just hadn’t realised that there’s about 6 jewellery shops in there! I had a look through each window but couldn’t spot any bat ears!

On the way home a spotted a very nice looking dog and went across to speak to the owner but they were in a rush, my first no!

When I got back to Bolton I went for a walk to the shop and was very pleased to spot Alfie the very handsome Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He was very friendly and I got to give him a nice fuss! Alfie is very gentle and tolerates a lot from the grandkids!

Year of the Dog Day 15

The weather is really horrible today, very cold and windy! I went for a walk around Manchester at dinnertime and went to another little hidden park that I’d never been to before but no dogs! After work I walked a slightly longer way to the train station but couldn’t spot a single dog!

When I got back to Bolton I popped into Pets at Home as needed to get a couple of bits for my handsome cat Milo. Again I was hoping I’d see a dog but I couldn’t spot any. I mentioned my blog to the two members of staff and they were really friendly and helpful and went off to see if there was a dog in the dog grooming parlour but they’d all gone home!

When I got back to the house I went for a little walk to the shop, surely I’d see a dog there but nothing! The weather is so horrible all the sensible people are at home in the warm, just the crazy dog stalker lady wandering the streets! I walked past the hairdressers that my mum goes to and I remembered that my mum said that she has a nice little dog so I popped in. What a lovely lady the hairdresser is, she was really friendly and happy for me to take a photo of the very cute and excited Oscar!

Oscar has a bit of a fan club at the hairdressers with some customer bringing in treats for him every time they come, what a lucky boy!
