I’m working this weekend so I decided to go for a little walk at lunchtime in search of a dog. I didn’t have to go very far when I spotted a man walking two dogs so I ran after them to say hello. Ninizu and Spartacus are both very cute but they both don’t like having their photo taken, it was pretty hard to get a decent shot! Ninizu is named after a character in a native American fairy tale. Spartacus is a rescue dog; he was rescued from an abusive home so he can be a little nervous, especially of children.

I popped to the park on my way to pick up Ethan from nursery today. When I arrived I spotted 3 ladies with 3 very cute dogs so I made my way across the park to meet them. Two of the dogs, a Staffie and a Springer Spaniel are 4 month old puppies, very cute! They were both very excited playing with each other so I decided it would be too difficult to get a photo of one of them so I chose beautiful Molly as my dog of the day. Molly is a lovely friendly girl, I gave her lots of strokes! Molly was out with her humans mum and her dog cousin Marley the Springer Spaniel. They both get on well with each other but Molly can find Marley to be a bit boisterous!

I’m got the week off work this week; I’m very pleased! Today I decided to go and visit my mum and dad’s friends Alan and Pauline to see their lovely dogs and make them my dogs of the day! Max and Molly are a lovely pair, so cute! They were both very excited when we arrived, it took them quite a while to calm down! Molly has a had a litter of puppies and one of her puppies Joey was also there visiting today. Ethan had a great time playing with the dogs and he was laughing his head off when Max stared licking his belly! Max is a very affectionate boy, he’s a real softy!

I’ve worked a really long day today! I didn’t get out of work until 9.30! I knew it would be a late one so I wanted to make sure I found a dog early on; unfortunately I had no luck at lunchtime. I headed out again at 5pm and my colleague spotted a dog across the road so I ran after them. I was very relieved to meet lovely Bella! Bella is a shy girl but I did manage to give her a little stroke, her humans said I was honoured! Bella goes with her humans everywhere, they only go on holiday to places that take dogs! Bella has a special dog car seat, how cool is that!

I had to wait until my husband got back from work today before I go could in search for a dog. I went to the usual park, it seemed pretty quiet at first but then I spotted gorgeous Chewy who came bounding over to say hello. We then spotted a very cute Shih Tzu, Chewy went and made friends with him and then I went over to say hello! Oddy is very sweet, a real friendly boy he loves having cuddles and attention! Oddy is the biggest Shih Tzu I’ve ever seen!

It’s been a miserable day with lots of rain so I didn’t have high hopes that I’d spot a dog at lunchtime today and I was right! I saw my neighbour Sue when I got back from work today and she told me that she was looking after 3 of her friends dogs so I went over to say hello! They were all very excited and I gave them all a fuss! I also got to say hello to beautiful Lady from Day 1 and handsome Cassius from Day 47. I decided to make beautiful Bella my dog of the day; she’s a Shih Tzu and Pug cross. I’ve met one before and I think they might possibly be related! I double checked and it also turns out that the Shih Tzu Pug cross that was previously my Dog of the Day is also called Bella, although they are definitely not the same dog; I had a moment of worry when I thought they might be! Bella is a very friendly girl and jumped up to say hello! She gets on well with her dog sisters Frankie a Shih Tzu and Cady a Labradoodle. Bella especially loves Cady and they snuggle up to each other at night!

Fonzi is very sweet, what a cute and friendly boy! I’m really busy this week in work so I haven’t had chance to go and look for a dog at lunchtime. I planned to go for a walk down my parents street to look for a dog as they’ve had Ethan again but it turned out I didn’t need to! I was very lucky and as soon as I got to my car I spotted a lady walking a very cute Shih Tzu. Marvin is very sweet, he came over to say hello and I gave him a little stroke! He’s very friendly, he made friends with a little girl whilst I was with him! Marvin was being walked by his human grandma who was looking after him for a few days.

I didn’t manage to get out at lunchtime today so I had to wait until I got back to Bolton to search for a dog. I went round to my parents house to pick up Ethan and went for a little walk down the street. I spotted a dog straight away so went over to say hello! Buddy is a very cute and friendly Shih Tzu. He’s named after Buddy Holly and he also lives with another Shih Tzu called Peggy Sue! Peggy wasn’t put on the walk with them as she doesn’t like to go out in the rain! Buddy’s humans have always had Shih Tzu’s, they previously had one called Gizmo and one called Harvey.

I had a meeting on the other side of Manchester today but I didn’t spot any dogs whilst on my travels! I was going to walk around the block when I got to Ethan’s nursery but it started pouring down so I gave that a miss! Fortunately by the time my husband got back from work it had stopped raining so I didn’t need to get wet! I spotted a dog pretty much as soon as I got to the park. I met very lovely Toby, he was very excited and happy! The humans that were with Toby are looking after him for a week for the lady’s sister in law so they weren’t 100% sure on all of the details! The lady’s grandkids were very excited about looking after him, I think he’s going to get very spoilt this week!

I popped to my parents after work to pick up Ethan and so I went for a little walk to the end of their street, doggy central! I spotted beautiful Poppy from day 140, she was very happy and I gave her fuss! Poppy’s human very kindly pointed me in the right direction of some dogs he’s just walked past so I went for a little jog down the path! It didn’t take long before I spotted an absolutely gorgeous puppy! Jack is as cute as can be! He was very happy and got really excited when another Shih Tzu came over to say hello! Jack is a puppy Shih Tzu and Jack Russell cross, what a mega cute combo!

I was too lazy to go for a walk a lunchtime so I decided I’d pop to the park after work. When I first pulled into the car park I couldn’t see any dogs about but it didn’t take long before I spotted one!

Eli is a very cute Shih Tzu, he’s very friendly! Eli lives with his human sister who’s 4 years old, they love each very much and she helps to look after Eli! He’s a very laid back dog but they can’t let him off the lead in the park as he’ll just run off!

I had the day off today so we planned to trip to Quarry Bank Mill. Since doing my blog I’ve made friends with Cooper the Dog on twitter; he doesn’t live that far away from Quarry Bank Mill so we arranged to meet up! Cooper is a very friendly dog, sooo happy! I think pretty much every person that walked past him wanted to stroke him and say hello! It was nice that I was able to spend a little bit more time than usual taking lots of pictures, to be honest I’ve found it quite difficult deciding which one to chose; that’s why I’ve chosen two! Cooper’s human dad showed me a video of Cooper walking up the stairs; he really enjoys walking up the stairs but he finds it quite hard as he’s only got little legs and then he can’t get back down! Cooper is a proud member of the Zombie Squad!

Ethan was little shy when he first met Cooper, he’d only just woken up but Cooper has definitely made an impression on him; he’s been taking about him all afternoon!

We all had the day off work today so we went for a drive to the shops. The weather has been horrible today but I was pretty sure I’d spot a dog at the shops as there’s a Pets at Home there! Anyway after lunch I spotted a very cute Shih Tzu so I went over to say hi! Lizzie was very friendly and she’s already famous! I’ve completed month number 3! I’ve just got 3 quarters of the year left to do!

The weather has been horrible again today! I didn’t spot any dogs at dinner time but I did near my work when I left but I had to dash for a train! The train was slower than usual so I didn’t have time to look for a dog before I picked up Ethan from nursery so I had to wait for my husband to get back from work; the weather was way too bad to take Ethan on a dog hunt! As soon as I could I headed out. I walked for around 30 minutes without much luck; I was loosing hope when I turned a corner and spotted lovely Bobby a very cute Yorkshire terrier. I was very relieved!

The sunshine is my friend! I was working again today so popped out at lunchtime and again I bumped into a dog straight away. Today I met the very friendly and smiley Dolly, look at her beautiful smile, she’s got so much personality! Dolly is named after Dolly Parton, good choice, I love Dolly Parton! Dolly was being walked by some friends of her owner but they know her very well, they obviously like her very much and who can blame them!

Wow, 50 days, that seems like a bit of a milestone! I was a bit worried that I wasn’t going to find a dog today! I ended up having to work late so I was keen to find a dog in the daytime. I went for a walk at lunchtime and didn’t see any dogs so I went out for a little walk around 5pm in the hope’s of spotting one but again nothing. I had to wait until after work. I walked home from the train station, I was nearly home and it was 8pm and I still hadn’t spotted a dog! I was concerned it wasn’t going to happen but then I spotted a cute little dog approaching on the other side of the road, I was so pleased! I met Pi whose owner tells me is the most unusual dog she’s ever known! He stays in bed until 9.30am every morning, lucky boy! He doesn’t really like playing with other dogs; the only dog he’s ever played with is a Northern Inuit that’s he’s known since he was a puppy.
