I had to pop to Afflecks Palace today for work so I was pretty hopeful that I’d spot a dog in the Northern Quarter! I was in luck and on my way back to work I spotted and extremely handsome White German Shepherd called Ambrose. To be honest I didn’t know you could get white German Shepherds before! Interestingly White German Shepherds were disqualified from the German Shepherd Dog club in 1933 when the Nazis came to power! Ambrose is a very chatty and friendly boy, he was talking to us the whole time! Ambrose lives with two cats but the don’t always get on that well! Ambrose’s human grandparents have a massive Saint Bernard; I was shown a picture of the two together and believe it or not Ambrose looked small next him!

I went for a walk at lunchtime today and very happily spotted a very smiley and handsome Bull Mastiff called Ali. Ali can be misunderstood; because he’s a big dog some people assume that he’s aggressive but he’s such a friendly softy, look at his smile! Ali lives with two tortoises who he loves loads! He nudges them around and one of them cuddles up to him at night; the other tortoise bites him from time to time though!

I had the day off today so again I went for a walk with Ethan and my parents. I soon as I stepped out of my parents house I spotted beautiful Poppy a Chocolate Labrador. Poppy lives on the same street as my parents so I’ve met her before; she’s a really friendly and happy girl! She made sure she said hello to all of the family. She was really good with Ethan and let him tickle her! Poppy has two human sisters and they all love each other very much! She recently entered a dog show contest for the dog with the waggiest tail but she kept sitting down when the judges came to meet her! Her human sister was very upset that she didn’t win!

I didn’t get a lot of time to look for a dog during lunch today so I planned to go when my husband got back from work. Luckily as I approached Ethan’s nursery I spotted a man walking 3 very cute Bichon Frise’s! They all looked so cute together that I decided that I’d have to have 3 dogs of the day! There human dad clearly thinks the world of his three lovely dogs and he was happy to tell me all about them! All 3 dogs had previous owners. Charlie and Lucy’s original owners had babies and found that they then didn’t have the time to look after them a so the went to live with their current humans! Jack only lived with his previous owner for a matter of weeks but had to move due to his new human sister having a bad allergic reaction to him; they were all gutted!

I didn’t get chance to go out at lunchtime today so I planned to go to the park after work. As soon as I stepped out of the train station in Bolton it started raining; gutted! Fortunately as soon as I got to the park the rain had passed!

The first dog I saw was Cassie from day 115, she’s so beautiful! I then spotted a very cute and excited looking dog in the distance so I went in hot pursuit! I met very cute Bouncer. When I first went up he had a big stick in his mouth, so cute but unfortunately I wasn’t quick enough to get a photo! Bouncer was a birthday present for his humans 16 year old daughter.

Is was my friends son Evan’s first birthday today so we went for a picnic in the park. It didn’t take long before I spotted a beautiful Border Collie that was playing football with her humans. I waited until they walked past and went over to say hello! Millie is a lovely friendly girl and although she’s 12 years old she still acts like a puppy! Millie likes to keep a safe distance between herself and her human siblings but she always makes sure she keeps a watchful eye on them; she’s very protective of them!

I’m working late tonight so I’m starting work later today which meant I could go and look for a dog this morning. I dropped Ethan off at nursery and went to the park. I soon as I got out of the car I spotted a massive dog up on the field so I went over to say hello! Chewy (named after Chewbacca) is another Briard, I can’t believe I’ve seen two in one week! Chewy is a very friendly boy, he came running over to say hello! He was very excited, he’s got lots of personality! Chewy loves playing with other dogs but he doesn’t realise how big he is so some dogs get a bit intimidated when he bounds over to say hello! He has dog pals that he see’s most days. He’s best friends with a Dalmatian, a Westie that climbs on him and a French Bulldog; I’d love to see them all together! Chewy’s mum has had a number of dogs but Chewy is the first Briard that she’s had; she wanted a big hairy dog!

I went for a walk at lunchtime today and spotted a lovely looking dog. I was really pleased that I’d found one early in the day and then I was even more pleased when I got closer and realised that he was a Rhodesian Ridgeback; chuffed to bits! Gamba is an extremely handsome dog and lots of passer byes obviously agreed as loads of people stopped to stoke him! Gamba means handsome warrior and he definitely is! Gamba’s human dad is a dog photographer, check out his Facebook page!

I had the day off today but spent most of the morning rushing round so I decided I’d go and look for a dog on the afternoon with Ethan and my parents. Ethan decided which direction we’d walk in and so we went a different route than usual! We walked to the next street and we spotted a beautiful Cocker Spaniel. Molly is an old girl, she’s 12 years old! She’s very lovely and was very patient to let Ethan stroke her! Molly is the 5th Cocker Spaniel that her human parents have had; I remember some of them from when I was younger! Molly lived with a previous owner for 6 years but they couldn’t look after her anymore so she moved in to her current home.

I went for a little walk at lunch time but didn’t spot any dogs so I went for a walk before I picked up Ethan from nursery. I got my exercise in today walking up a steep hill to the park! When I got to the top of the hill I spotted a very happy and active dog! Nell was very happy chasing her ball, she really loves it! We used the ball to get her to pose for me! Nell lives with her human sister Isla who’s only 9 months old!

I popped to the park after work today but it seemed pretty quiet at first. I walked past a really cute Jack Russell but it’s owner was on the phone so I couldn’t stop him! I walked a bit further on and spotted a lovely looking dog across the field so I went over to say hello! I met beautiful Ellie a very friendly Briard. Ellie lives with another Briard called Deifer who’s 8 years old who she follow around all of the time! They go for separate walks as it can be hard work taking the two of them! Ellie enjoys playing hide and seek with her human mummy, she’ll hide behind trees until Ellie finds her!

I was invited to Laila’s (from day 62) birthday party today so I knew I’d see plenty of dogs but on the way there I spotted at Saint Bernard! I was soooo excited, everyday I hope I’ll see a Saint Bernard! I had to get my husband to pull over in the car and I ran out to say hello. I met very beautiful Ruby, she’s such a lovely girl. I got to give her lots of strokes and she sat on my feet to make sure I couldn’t move and so could carry on stroking her! To be fair it’s pretty hard to move a Saint Bernard off you! Ruby lives in the Tansy Green pub and so she gets lots of fussing from the locals. She make herself at home and sits on the seats next to the customers and she’s also been know to steal some Guiness! Ruby’s human dad has told me that the movie Beethoven is pretty much what it’s like having a Saint Bernard; you have to make sure you don’t leave the toilet seat up! Ruby is also a mum and once had a litter of 7 puppies. Unfortunately Ruby has since been diagnosed with epilepsy and has to take medication every day; she leads a full and happy life though!

Laila’s birthday party was lots of fun and I got to see lots of lovely dogs including a Grey Whippet, a Westie, Alfie from day 113 and a puppy Boxer; all in all a very good day!

I had the day off today so I went for a walk with Ethan and my husband round the park. It didn’t take long until we bumped into a beautiful little dog called Foxy. She was with a lovely Staffie called Tilly who she lives with. Foxy was rescued from her previous owners who used to keep her in a cage all day, poor girl! She’s happy now in her loving home!

I really wanted to spot a dog in the day time today as I’m stretched for time this evening but I didn’t spot any! Manchester seemed really quiet today!

By the time I left work it was absolutely pouring down so I went to Pets at Home on the way home hoping I’d spot a dog, there were none! I picked up Ethan from nursery and decided I’d drive round to my parents so that I could pop round to their neighbours house and take a picture of very handsome Loki! I’ve known Loki since he was a very cute puppy; he’s massive now! He was very excited that I’d come round and did lots of tricks! Loki’s human mummy told me about a time when the window cleaners came round the back of the house but forgot to check if Loki was about. Loki came bounding out of the house to see who was there but as he’s so massive they were terrified and one jumped over the fence and the other climbed up the ladder! He’s a big softy really!

I drove to the polling station after work today to vote. As it happens the polling station is opposite a park so I thought I’d go there after I voted! I couldn’t believe the size of the queue to vote, it was massive! There were a couple of dogs in the queue to vote but I would have lost my place if I went to say hello to them and by the time I’d finished their owners were due to go in! As soon as I walked out of the polling station I spotted a very cute Border Terrier so I went over to say hello! Macie is very cute and friendly but she’s not very keen on having her photo taken!

I had the day off today and so I took Ethan to Pets at Home to have a little look at the rabbits and fish; he loves it! Whilst we were in there we bumped into a lady with 4 dogs, 2 were hers and she was looking after the other 2 whilst their parents were at work! I took a picture of very friendly Lola, a very happy Jack Russell! Lola lives with another lovely Jack Russell called Rodney and a cat called Lucy. Lola and Lucy play with each other all of the time chasing each other, Lola will walk round with Lucy handing off her! Lola also likes having a good chat!

I was gutted today having to work on a bank holiday! Right at the end of the day my colleagues came running up to me to let me know there was a cute Dachshund outside! I ran to the door to have a look, it was beautiful Mildred from day 53!

When I got home I went for a walk with Ethan and my husband and it didn’t take long before we spotted possibly the most excited dog I’ve ever met! Millie is a really cute Jack Russell. She was so excited that I don’t think she was still for a single second! She really liked Ethan and was very keen to say hello to him! Millie’s human mum wanted to get a dog and told her husband that it was a choice between a puppy or a baby; her husband came home with a puppy! Millie gets to go to work with her human daddy every day which she loves.

I was working today so I went for a little walk at lunchtime with a colleague to look for a dog but we didn’t spot any so I popped to the park after work! I spotted 3 dogs all pretty close together so I went to say hello to a very cute King Charles Cavalier Spaniel who was carrying a tennis ball in her mouth! She was very keen on the tennis ball and wouldn’t drop it for the photo, she looks really sweet with it! She didn’t stop wagging her tail the whole time!

I was out and about in Manchester today so I hoped I’d find a dog quite easily! I was in the northern quarter when I spotted a very cute Cocker Spaniel so I went over to say hello but unfortunately they didn’t want to take part!

Later on my colleague spotted a very cute dog on the high street and fortunately they said yes to being involved! Lady is very lovely, she’s a very friendly dog! I got to give her lots of strokes! She loves having lots of cuddles!
