I had the day off today but it was jammed packed doing productive things around the house so I didn’t get out for my dog search until a bit later! Fortunately it was still light so I popped to the park. It didn’t take me long before I spotted a very nice Rottweiler so I went over to say hello. Bella was very happy to be in the park and chasing her ball, she can jump really high! Bella’s human mum is pregnant at the moment and so Bella is making sure she’s looking after her!

I worked late tonight so I made sure I went out at lunchtime for a walk but I didn’t spot any dogs. I took a break in the afternoon and went for little walk around the block but I still didn’t spot any! I didn’t get back to Bolton until 8pm, it was dark and raining, booooo! I’ve got to be honest, I felt a little disheartened on my way home! I got in the car and drove to the shop where I’ve spotted many dogs before. Just as I pulled in I saw a very cute Yorkshire Terrier so I went over to say hello, I’m a happy girl again! Benji was very friendly and very excited; so excited that he couldn’t keep still! I only  managed to get one picture in focus. It’s not my best picture but I think you can still see how cute he is!

I just turned onto the street where I park to pick up my little boy from nursery when I spotted a very nice Cocker Spaniel so I parked up and went over to say hello! I met very cute Harvey, he was little nervous though, he’s always a little shy with strangers! I did manage to give him a little stoke though and I’m not sure you can tell from the picture but he a had a very cute little smile on his face!

I didn’t have time to look for a dog at lunchtime today so I went to the park when I got back to Bolton. As I was parking up I spotted two very lovely Chocolate Labradors so I parked up as fast as I could and went over to say hello. I met very friendly Muffin and Jake! It’s amazing how different they both look despite both being Chocolate Labradors!

I popped to the park when I got back to Bolton after work. There wasn’t that many dogs about, there are usually loads, but I did spot a very lovely looking dog called Tessa. Tessa is very friendly, she liked having a little stroke! Tessa is a rescue dog from the animal shelter in Bolton.  http://www.animalshelter.org.uk/

I went for a drive to Horwich today to take my son to the hairdressers and as we were parking up I spotted a lady training a guide dog so I went over to say hello. I wasn’t sure if they’d be able to stop but fortunately they could so I got to say hello to beautiful Thelma. Thelma is still a trainee guide dog, she’s in the last part of her training though and only has 2 months to go, what a clever girl! Thelma is sooo gentle and obviously very well behaved, she was one of the easiest dogs so far to get a photo of!

Since I’ve started my blog I’ve wanted to see a guide dog, they’re so amazing! The work they do is so fantastic, dogs really are incredible! To find out more about guide dogs follow the link below.

Another day off so again I didn’t think I’d struggle to find a dog. I should have gone for a walk first thing as the weather was better but I had other things to get on with so I had to go out in the rain in the afternoon. I walked around the local park and spotted a man with a very handsome Lurcher so I went over to say hello.

I didn’t have chance to go out at lunch time today so I had to have a look after work! I went for a walk around the block when I got to my son’s nursery but the only dog I saw was Ruby from day 14. My husband was out on a night out after work today so I had to go and have a look for a dog with my son after I’d picked him up from nursery. I was loosing hope when I spotted a very cute little dog called Lola. Lola was with her human mummy Julie and her grand kids, they love her so much!

It’s been my day off today so I knew I’d have no trouble finding a dog! I went round to my parents house and didn’t have to wait too long when I spotted a neighbor taking his son’s very handsome Chocolate Labrador for a walk. I’ve spotted him before but I hadn’t actually met him yet, he’s such a friendly lovely dog. Another Chocolate Labrador also walked past, they were both very excited to see each other! Rossi has lots of cuddly toys, he takes one with him when he  answers the door so that he doesn’t get too excited!

I had a really busy day in work so I didn’t manage to get out and search for a dog at lunchtime, I hoped I would spot one on the way home. I was really lucky and spotted a dog just down from the train station. I met very handsome Comet, a very friendly boy! Comet doesn’t like having a cold nose so he covers it up with his paw, how cute! Comet is a rescue dog.

I also bumped into Bonnie from day 51 on the way home, such a smiley dog!

I walked to the train station this morning on the way to work, the weather was pretty horrible so I didn’t have high hopes of spotting a dog and I didn’t! I went for a little walk at lunch time but I didn’t spot any. When I got back to Bolton I walked back home from the train station. I got to right to near my house when I spotted a dog. I went over to say hello and then I realised that is was gorgeous Louis from day 4; my search continued! I carried on walking, I got pretty far without spotting anything.

I was loosing hope and then a spotted a lady walking 2 dogs so I ran up a hill after her. I was very revealed to meet Alfie, he’s lovely and such a well behaved boy! I thought he was a Border Collie but he’s actually a Welsh Sheepdog. Alfie is a bit of a miracle dog. He once swallowed a stick which made a hole in his throat. The vets were very concerned but somehow his throat managed to heal itself!

I had to wait until after work again today to find a dog! I walked back from nursery pushing my son in the pram so I was pretty sure that I’d find a dog. I spotted a small little dog from afar but then I realised that it was Baily from day 16! I walked a bit further on and met beautiful Bonnie! She’s 11 years old but you wouldn’t think it, she had bags of energy, what a gorgeous dog! Her human mum had already heard about my blog from Keith and Iris that were walking Petra from day 43!

Wow, 50 days, that seems like a bit of a milestone! I was a bit worried that I wasn’t going to find a dog today! I ended up having to work late so I was keen to find a dog in the daytime. I went for a walk at lunchtime and didn’t see any dogs so I went out for a little walk around 5pm in the hope’s of spotting one but again nothing. I had to wait until after work. I walked home from the train station, I was nearly home and it was 8pm and I still hadn’t spotted a dog! I was concerned it wasn’t going to happen but then I spotted a cute little dog approaching on the other side of the road, I was so pleased! I met Pi whose owner tells me is the most unusual dog she’s ever known! He stays in bed until 9.30am every morning, lucky boy! He doesn’t really like playing with other dogs; the only dog he’s ever played with is a Northern Inuit that’s he’s known since he was a puppy.

I went for a walk to the park this morning with my son and some friends. We didn’t have to walk very far when we spotted a little puppy, very excited! Axel is a Norwegian Elk Hound. He’s soooo cute and his fur is really soft! Axel’s human dad told me that he was on waiting list for 3 years to get him; he’s definitely worth the wait!

I knew I would have no trouble finding a dog today! I went for a little walk around the block and bumped into Brandy and Lucky, two sisters. They looked so cute together but apparently they don’t get on too well, they’re quite different! Brandy and Lucky are rescue dogs.

The weather is really miserable today, drizzly rain! I didn’t fancy walking round for ages in the rain looking for a dog so I popped into Pets at Home when I got back to Bolton. There were a couple of dogs in the grooming parlour but they weren’t with their owners so I couldn’t take a picture of them. Just as I walked outside of the shop I noticed a lady getting in to a car with a little dog in it so I went over to say hello! I met Missy a very cute Jackadoodle! She was very friendly but a little camera-shy so it was pretty difficult to get a picture of her!

I went for a walk at lunch time today but didn’t spot any dogs, I did bump into my sister though which was very nice!

I parked up near nursery and spotted a very cute dog! I jumped out of the car to say hello to very lovely Petra! Petra’s owner has broken her leg so she was being walked by Iris and Keith. They weren’t 100% sure about some of the questions I asked them about Petra so they very kindly found out some of the info when they dropped her off and rang me up to let me know; thanks Iris and Keith!

I had the day off today so I knew I’d manage to find a dog pretty easily! I went to visit my parents and looked out of the window for a while but didn’t spot any dogs, usually there are loads, so I went for a walk. I only had to walk to the end of their street before I saw a really cute little terrier who was very excited about playing fetch! I went over to say hello. It was pretty hard get a picture of gorgeous Tia as she didn’t want to stop playing fetch, she was barking ‘hurry up with this photo, I want to play’!

Whilst I was with Tia about 10 dogs walked past, including a really cute puppy American bulldog, I hope I see him again!

I was working today and didn’t spot any dogs on the way in so I went for a walk at lunch time. I went to a park where I’ve had success before and spotted Frenchie Maurice carrying a big stick! I went over to say hello and then carried on with my search; I didn’t spot any other dogs during my lunch hour!

I went for a little walk when I got home, another night shot I’m afraid, I can’t wait for the days to get longer again! I spotted a very cute dog and went over to say hello! Poppy is a Border Terrier and she’s 15 years old; you wouldn’t think it though, she’s so active! Poppy would hardly keep still for a photo and her owner told that me she’ll walk for miles despite her advanced age!

I’ve often hoped that I would see a dog at the train station and today that happened! I ran past my friend that I happened to bump into saying “there’s a dog over there”. I did manage to give her a quick hug though but there was no time to chat, I had a dog to meet! I had enough time before the train came to meet very lovely Rocky, he’s getting an old boy! He was really gentle and very friendly, we had a little hug! He was also very well-behaved on the train! Rocky is a rescue dog from Manchester Dogs home.
