I went to Moss Bank Park today for some dog spotting! It was just starting to rain so I was really pleased that I spotted 2 very excited looking dogs running in the field. Bracken and Piper are both very cute and very active! It was almost impossible to get a picture of Bracken as she would only stay still for a few moments at a time, as soon as I got the camera near her she would jump in the air and run off again! They are both very excited dogs, they both love running around, chasing the ball and jumping in the air! I couldn’t manage getting a picture of the two of them together I’m afraid (Bracken is in the background of Piper’s picture though, along with a giant inflatable gorilla!).

I can’t believe it but almost the same thing has happened today as yesterday. I was at the reception desk when a colleague came in and told me there was a dog outside. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it was another Dachshund! Charlie was sat on his human dads knee having a cuddle, he’s such a cutie. At first I though he might be a cross as he’s quite big but he’s not, he’s a Long Haired Standard Dachshund. Charlie is a little bit shy and made sure he stayed close to his dad.

I was in work today and I got a call over the radio saying there was a very cute dog outside that I had to go and see! I went down to the entrance as quick as I could so I could meet Bronson a gorgeous puppy Dachshund. Two Dachshunds in one week, what a lucky girl! Bronson is mega excited all of the time! He doesn’t keep still because he’s really happy about all of the people that he can meet! I got to have a little cuddle with him almost straight away and got lots of kisses, such a friendly boy.

I was off today and so went to my parents in the afternoon. After I’d been there for a little while I spotted a really cute dog walking past so I ran out of the house to meet her. Fudge is a very cute and friendly girl! She loves licking people, she continuously licked my arm whilst I was stroking her. Every night she licks her human dad’s face, she gives him a ‘Fudge facial’. Fudge has had a bit of a hard time during her life. Her dog mum and 12 other puppy siblings were dumped outside the entrance of a Bleakholt Rescue Centre. Fudge was the smallest out of the puppies, believe it or not her dog brother is the size of a Border Collie! Fudge has also had to have a number of operations on her back legs but she’s still a happy girl!

I had no luck at spotting a dog at dinnertime today so I planned to go for a little walk near nursery before I picked Ethan up. Unfortunately The train was delayed so I didn’t have time, I had to wait until my husband got home from work. I went to the usual park and I spotted an extremely excited Black Labrador who was literally jumping for joy! She bounced the whole time I was with her, such a lovely girl!

I didn’t manage to get out at lunchtime today so I had to wait until I got back to Bolton to search for a dog. I went round to my parents house to pick up Ethan and went for a little walk down the street. I spotted a dog straight away so went over to say hello! Buddy is a very cute and friendly Shih Tzu. He’s named after Buddy Holly and he also lives with another Shih Tzu called Peggy Sue! Peggy wasn’t put on the walk with them as she doesn’t like to go out in the rain! Buddy’s humans have always had Shih Tzu’s, they previously had one called Gizmo and one called Harvey.

I didn’t have to worry about finding a dog today as I had already arranged to meet a puppy Dachshund called Walter. We were going to meet at Pennington Flash but I ended up getting a bit lost, even with the satnav! I managed to find my way to a pub which was close by so Walter’s humans came and met me there. It wasn’t until a left that I realised Pennington Flash was actually directly across the road from the pub, what a dope!

Unfortunately the heavens opened this afternoon, it was raining so much that I ended up taking picture of Walter in the car, its the first time I’ve done that! Walter is a real cutie, such a friendly boy, I got to give him lots of strokes and also got to have a cuddle! Walter has just started going to puppy class, he’s only been going for 2 weeks, he’s got another 6 to go! Walter is by far the smallest dog there, there’s lots of puppy Labradors in his class! I wish I could go to a puppy class, living the dream! Walter is really good with kids, he see’s one regularly who used to be scared of dogs but now loves them because Walter is so lovely!

Me and Ethan went for a little stroll around Middlebrook today. As usual we spent quite a lot of time in the toy houses outside the toy shop! I finally persuaded Ethan to leave the house and go to the pet shop. I’d seen a number of dogs go in and out whilst I was waiting for Ethan so I knew I wouldn’t struggle to find a dog! Whilst we were in the shop I saw a very beautiful Cocker Spaniel so  I went to meet her! Pippa is really cute, she’s such a friendly girl, I got a kiss almost straight away! Pippa lives with her dog brother Sam, he’s very handsome and she also has 3 human siblings, they love her very much!

Milo my lovely cat

My lovely handsome cat Milo was sadly hit by a car this week and has passed away. I miss him lots already, the house is much quieter without him! I miss him following my around the house, sitting next to me on the bed for a morning stroke and chat and evening cuddles on the sofa; I even miss his constant nagging for food! Make sure you give your pets extra cuddles and strokes today.

It’s been a lovely sunny day today! I went for a walk at lunchtime and sat in a park for a while but I didn’t spot any dogs. When I arrived back in Bolton I spotted a really handsome looking dog at the top of the station so I went to say hello. I met gorgeous Taz a German Shepherd and Husky cross. Taz is a rescue dog from Bleakholt animal sancuary. He’s 11 years old but his current human daddy has only had him since last August. Sadly in September Taz was diagnosed with cancer in his tail which he’s had to have removed. They then discovered a cancerous lump in his ear which he has just had removed this week, he still has the stitches bless him! He was in really good spirits though, what a lovely boy. Taz’s human had a really hard year last year so he decided that he needed to get another dog; he told me that Taz has rescued him! Taz is a really lovely friendly dog, he gave me a little kiss and I stroked his tummy! Taz’s human is also great, what a really friendly man, it was a real pleasure to meet him!

It’s been miserable weather today, lots of rain; I definitely didn’t wear the right shoes today! When I got back to Bolton I went home to get my raincoat and some different shoes and headed out to the park! I was pretty worried that I wouldn’t spot any dogs, it was really quiet! Fortunately after I’d been there for about five minutes I spotted a lady with a Westie  up on the fields. They were heading out of the park so I had to move pretty quickly to catch them!

The lovely Westie I met was gorgeous Daisy. She was with her human Grandma who’s looking after her whilst her humans are away! Daisy is very cute and looked like she’s really enjoyed her walk in the rain!

I’ve been very excited about today! When I went to the dog show at Turton Tower the other week I met a gorgeous puppy Saint Bernard called Geoff but I already had a dog of the day so we swapped details and arranged to meet up; today was that day! I’ve been telling everyone for the past week about the puppy and mummy Saint Bernard that I’ve arranged to meet, so exciting!

Myself and Ethan went to Moses gate country park this morning and I definitely wasn’t disappointed when I met amazing Emma and Geoff! They are both really friendly, me and Ethan got to give them lots of strokes, I even got to have my photo taken with them! Although Geoff is only 4 months old he’s already a winner and won best in show at the dog show where I met them! Emma has also been to Crufts and Geoff will enter when he’s older! Emma is Geoff’s mummy. She had a litter of 7 puppies but unfortunately she lost 3 of them. Geoff loves his mummy and also enjoys tormenting her, Emma is a patient dog!

I wanted to go out at lunchtime today to find a dog as I had plans tonight, but I didn’t end up having time! I hoped I would have chance as I arrived to nursery but unfortunately my train was cancelled and the next one delayed so I didn’t have time!

Myself and my friends Jen and Rebecca went climbing tonight. We were all had on our dog spotting eyes on the way there but unfortunately didn’t see any! We didn’t leave the climbing centre until 9.30pm so I thought I might struggle to find a dog. Fortunately my friend Rebecca has a dog so we popped round to her house on the way home, thank you Rebecca! This is the first time that I’ve met Tyler, she’s beautiful! She was very excited to see us all, her tail wagged the whole time and she didn’t stop smiling! She’s a very clever girl and can do many tricks, she was also very good posing for her photos!

I’ve now made it to 6 months for my blog, just another 6 to go!

I went to Jodrell Bank today and I hoped I might see a dog there but unfortunately they can’t have dogs in the grounds! On the way home I stopped off at the usual park and spotted a couple getting 3 dogs out of their car so I went over to say hello. I decided to take a photo of just one of the dogs as I hope I might see them all again! Woody was the first of the dogs to come up and say hello so I’ve made him my dog of the day! Woody is a very friendly Yellow Labrador, what a lovely boy! He gets on very well with his 2 dog housemates Tarka who is 17 years old and Molly.

I went for a little walk at lunchtime today but I didn’t spot any dogs. After I’d been back in work for about 10 minutes I noticed a couple with a very cute Jack Russell have their photograph taken outside so I went over to say hello! They were having photos taken by their wedding photographer and they were happy to let me also take Missy’s photo! Missy is very cute and very friendly; she’s also a very good age, she’s 15 years old! Unusually Missy doesn’t like plastic bags and wee’s on them when she see’s them! Missy is a rescue dog from Manchester Dogs Home.

I went for a walk at lunchtime today and on my way back to work I spotted an amazing dog on the other side of the road, so as soon as it was safe I ran across the road! Snoop is a cross between a Dachshund and Basset Hound; what a great combination! Snoop is a very friendly boy and he’s also very chatty, he talked the whole time I was there! Snoop really loves human company, he gets anxious if he’s on his own so he goes to work with his humans every day, lucky boy! Snoop loves human company so much he thinks he is human! He has a dog bed which he won’t use, instead he sleeps in one of his humans beds!

I had a meeting on the other side of Manchester today but I didn’t spot any dogs whilst on my travels! I was going to walk around the block when I got to Ethan’s nursery but it started pouring down so I gave that a miss! Fortunately by the time my husband got back from work it had stopped raining so I didn’t need to get wet! I spotted a dog pretty much as soon as I got to the park. I met very lovely Toby, he was very excited and happy! The humans that were with Toby are looking after him for a week for the lady’s sister in law so they weren’t 100% sure on all of the details! The lady’s grandkids were very excited about looking after him, I think he’s going to get very spoilt this week!

I went to Moss Bank Park today with Ethan and as soon as I arrived I spotted a very happy little dog so I went to over to say hi! Minnie is very cute and very active; she hardly kept still the whole time we were there! She definitely doesn’t act like she’s 10 years old, she still like a puppy! She was really enjoying playing fetch with her tennis ball and she even let Ethan have a go! Minnie is a rescue dog from Manchester dogs home. Minnie’s human daddy said that she chose him!

I popped out at lunchtime today and didn’t have to go very far before I spotted a dog walking on the other side of the road. I made a dash for it and met very cute Arnie, a puppy French Bulldog. I know I say this all the time but I really do love French Bulldogs! Arnie’s fur is really soft and he still has some excess skin to grow in to, so cute! He’s a really friendly boy, I got to give him lots of strokes! Arnie’s human dad works at Close barbers in Manchester and he gets to come to work with him every day; all of the customers must love him! Arnie also has his very own Instagram account; Arnie_FrenchBulldog.
